![]() Now let’s move on to the disappointing facts, games is f2p and yes it comes with microtransactions such as battle-pass, monthly pass, top-up systems and gacha elements. I found myself invested in the fate of the characters and eager to uncover the secrets of the world. The world of Torchlight is full of lore and history, and the game does an excellent job of weaving it all together into a cohesive narrative. ![]() The game also has a rich story that kept me engaged from start to finish. The game also features a variety of enemies, from hordes of skeletons to towering bosses, that require different strategies to defeat & with a wide range of weapons and armor (sadly doesn't change appearance, u can do so with buying corresponding skin from the shop) to choose from, you can customize your character build to fit your playstyle perfectly.īut Torchlight Infinite isn't just about combat. Whether you're playing as a warrior, mage, or rogue, each class has a unique set of abilities and playstyle that keeps the combat fresh and exciting (as you can make Warrior a semi-mage and vice-versa). From the moment I started playing, I was hooked on the fast-paced combat, deep character build customization, engaging storyline and most important "progression".įirst and foremost, the combat in Torchlight Infinite is incredibly satisfying. But don't become a mouth piece for games like this.Torchlight: Infinite is a free-to-play action RPG that has quickly become one of my favorite games among the series (especially after bad experience with Torchlight 3). So yeah, if you enjoy the game, please do. But there are enough people who either fall for those traps or just don't care about games in general because they will always have 1.000$ just laying around to throw into the game. And I plan to not play anymore after the story. I know you will say "then don't play it!". But it doesn't excuse using every eNgAgEmEnT MeChAnIc in the book to abuse players. It might be true, I enjoy the story myself. After free hand outs end, you have a chance to be hooked on the game and on the luxuries they previously provided for free. They always give you free stuff at the beginning, so you get hooked. Not really, uinless you mean "You can obtain everything! It will only take you 5 years"ģ. The game doesn t have to be multiplayer to exploit the player.Ģ. and the stuff that you can buy for real money is very easily obtainable in-game, even without big efforts. Ofcourse there will be some options in the shop to buy currency, but devs must make money from the game somehow. ![]() Same with pets,u can buy pet tokens with jagged primos too and all that lol. Inventory space is pretty big i would say (big enough to fit 4-5 runs of netherrealm), it can be extended very easily lol, 4 slots for 20 jagged primos, for 1 day i literally got 2,6k jagged primos. :TeddyQuest: inventory space is purely cosmetic? battlepass is purely cosmetic? stashspace is purely cosmetic? pet gacha is purely cosmetic? Also it's not needed to buy it, purelly cosmetics thing, noone cares, which is clearly shown in healthy grown of playerbase(almost 21k ppl playing in one moment today on Steam). So if U will collect all it from all events, U will have 1000$ worth of this currency pretty easielly at some point. It dries up just to come again in next event and battle pass, and another and another and another. :TeddyQuest: inventory space is purely cosmetic? battlepass is purely cosmetic? stashspace is purely cosmetic? pet gacha is purely cosmetic? extra characters are purely cosmetic? you really want your games to be like that? everything is designed with money in mind first. They make the game intentionally bad and sell you the solution in the shop, like inventory space. Look up how you get it, there is no way to grind it, those are one time achievements. Shower you with it the first days, now your used to the shop. The premium currency dries up really fast, oldest trick in the mobile playbook.
